MONITORING

Throughout Australia, gaming is a strictly regulated activity. This applies particularly where there are gaming machines and systems involved.

As a Licensed Monitoring Operator (LMO) in Queensland, Odyssey has significant responsibilities to ensure that the appropriate  information is collected delivered to the Government and that the installed gaming equipment in clubs and hotels is the correct type that has been approved by the regulatory authority. There are numerous legislative and administrative compliance requirements that must be addressed by Odyssey.

Odyssey takes its compliance responsibilities seriously. A compliance committee assists the Board to fulfill its corporate governance and oversight responsibilities relating to compliance of both Odyssey and the parent company  Federal Group Pty Ltd. Compliance Managers at both Federal Group and Odyssey oversee the compliance responsibilities of the group. Any compliance matters are dealt with at regular compliance meetings and reports made to the board on a regular basis through a board-level compliance committee to ensure the maintenance of the highest levels of compliance.

Our Technicians

Odyssey Gaming provides personalised service for the repair and maintenance of all gaming machines.  Our dedicated technicians are assigned to specific QLD regions to ensure that they can build a rapport with their customer base and understand the requirements of the venues in their area. This ensures that venues are familiar with their Odyssey Gaming technician and, more importantly, that our team member has a good understanding of the venue and its individual service requirements.

The Odyssey Gaming’s Service team is highly trained and qualified.  All of our technicians are licensed as required with the Queensland Office of Liquor & Gaming Regulation (QOLGR).

Spare Parts & Repairs

Each technician is equipped with an extensive range of parts to cater for all brands of gaming machines. Teams are also supported by dedicated Odyssey service warehouses throughout QLD, which hold a wide range of spare parts, and which hand in hand with our in-house Repair Centre allow venues to enjoy a quick service turnaround.

 

Technical Support

Technicians are available 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm daily and are support by the Odyssey Support Centre who will manage your machine service request.

Gaming Operations Services


In addition to machine maintenance services, Odyssey is regularly engaged by its customers to provide additional support services, including, but not limited to:

    • Coordination of EGM related changes at the venue including machine moves and upgrades
    • Coordination with suppliers for EGM related changes at the venue.
    • Coordination with Technical Support to schedule and implement all work required.
    • Coordination with OLGR for all Floor Layouts and Game approvals.
